After completion of his inspirational and successful tour of New York City schools, renowned Swedish folk artist Ben Olander will bring his lectures back to his home country of Sweden under the auspices of the International Raoul Wallenberg Foundation. Olander is set to give presentations to schools and government institutions around Sweden through November.
Ben Olander’s presentations discuss the Holocaust and present Swedish diplomat, Raoul Wallenberg, as an example of courage and what one person can do to prevent everything that comes between harassment and genocide. ”Raoul Wallenberg’s Battle Against Evil” is a performance centered on Raoul Wallenberg’s heroic deeds. ”The Triumph of Life” is a performance with songs and stories of the triumph of life, including a shorter presentation of Wallenberg’s deeds.
In March, Ben Olander, in association with the International Raoul Wallenberg Foundation, traveled to New York City schools to talk about understanding, acceptance, and fight against evil.
