To the President of Russia
Mr. Vladimir PuttinMr. President,
I am pleased to address you regarding the activities carried out by the International Raoul Wallenberg Foundation, an organization created in Argentina whose mission is to develop educational programs based on the values of solidarity and humanitarian spirit.
This non-governmental organization also works as a constant reminder of the Swedish Diplomat Raoul Wallenberg. This foundation was named Wallenberg because he represents a model of human rights defense, without any distinction of race, belief or nationality.
As Senator of Argentine, I adhere to all the principles that defend the human values that are meant to ennoble man in the constant spirit of struggle and civic courage, in the search for truth and justice.
This is why I join the Foundation in its struggle to clarify the whereabouts of Raoul Wallenberg, supporting the diplomat’s family right to receive accurate information on this matter.
Looking forward to counting on you, Mr. President, that you will show the same interest on working this fair and human cause out, it is an honor for me to send you my kindest regards,
Senator Carlos A. Reutemann
Argentine Senator
President of the Foreign Affairs and Worship Caucus
