Education is a powerful tool, especially at an early age.
If carefully implemented, President Sarkozy`s initiative would prove to be an excellent inoculation against the advent of a future genocide.
Our Foundation has accumulated a vast experience in developing Holocaust educational programmes to the youngsters. We believe that the lessons of the Holocaust should be taught not only by teaching the atrocities perpetrated by the Nazis, but also by conveying the marvelous stories of the saviours, such as Raoul Wallenberg, who had risked their lives to save others, and by telling the personal stories of the victims.
The human mind cannot comprehend the extermination of millions of children. One child represents all the children.
We applaud President Sarkozy on his educational initiative.
