Mr Hannan makes a valid point. Morally speaking, Holocaust deniers are a bunch of liars and ideological thugs who deserve being condemned by society. Basically, their agenda is to pave the way for another Holocaust through their blatant lies.
And yet, practically speaking, one could argue that gagging them is not worthwhile or even counterproductive.
This is a real dilemma, and both positions have their merits.
Based on our wealth of experience, the best way to fight against those bigots is through education.
Our Foundation is devoted to preserve and divulge the legacy of Raoul Wallenberg, the Swedish diplomat who saved 100,000 innocent lives from the Nazis, and of the other saviours of the Holocaust.
Young people should become exposed to these wonderful stories of courageous women and men who risked their lives to save others.
The more we divulge their feats, the less damage will be done by those who deny the Holocaust.
