Your Excellency,
In the name of the protestant church of Berlin we have to thank you for the initiative of declaring Mr. Baruch Tenembaum, the founder of the International Raoul Wallenberg Foundation, illustrious citizen of the province of Santa Fe, 29th September 05.
To Mr. Tenembaum's indefatigable efforts for reconciliation and for interfaith dialogue, to his dedication for humanity, to his generosity and magnanimity we owe the donation to our church of the replica of the Commemorative Mural dedicated to the victims of the Shoah and for the victims of the terrorist attacks against Jewish and Israeli institutions in Argentina, placed in the Cathedral in Buenos Aires.
We experienced his always awake appreciation for suffering and needs, for righteousness and truth, we were quite happy to take part in his wisdom and knowledge.
Mr. Tenembaum was the only person, who commemorated the merits of one of the most important figures of Jewish-Christian dialogue and reconciliation after World War II - not only in Germany, but even in international organisations - , an old Rabbi, now in his age forgotten by the most.
Baruch Tenembaum was one, who brought back to him the will to live and sense by giving him an award.
We don't know any person at all, who does so many works of charity and straightness. His modesty and clearness, his sense of humour and fidelity coronate his good deeds.
Whereas here in Berlin was installed a criminal regime, which spread out from this city the atrocities of the Shoah all over the world and created pain and suffering, in the same year Baruch Tenembaum was born in the tiny little village Las Palmeras in Santa Fe. This marvellous person created in his life and activities an overwhelming contra-program of dignity, respect, spiritual values and peace-work, giving an example of virtues, which our planet needs to have a future.
We enjoyed very much the supporting participation of your beautiful ambassador Mr. Enrique Candiotti at this events in Berlin, who has a sense for the deep spiritual meaning of Mr. Baruch Tenembaums activities in the work for reconciliation and righteousness.
We congratulate you to such sons of your country.
