THE EXAMPLE OF GRÜNINGER
”Grüninger had received the order to slow down the wave of refugees and even to send them back. He was forced to choose between the moral law and the law of the State.”
LETTER FROM THE PRIME MINISTER OF HUNGARY
”I find it a great honour to have been invited to be an honorary member of the Foundation. I feel so for two reasons. On the one hand because in such a way, I can express my appreciation and belated thanks for everything Raoul Wallenberg did for my Hungarian compatriots a generations ago.”
”So, I say ”YES” to your invitation with genuine enthusiasm, and I wish to assure you that I will do my best as Prime Minister of the Republic of Hungary, as well as a politician and father to make sure that the principles and values of humanism represented by the Raoul Wallenberg Foundation and demonstrated by the Swedish diplomat who had been chosen the Righteous of the World prevail in my country, in Europe, as well as all over the world.”

TESTIMONY OF AGNES ROSNER GROSSINGER
”My name is Agnes Rosner Grossinger, and I am an 80 year old survivor from Budapest, thanks to the effort of Raoul Wallenberg and in my case of Dr. Charles Lutz..”
TESTIMONY OF ANDREW SIMON
”I may well be a beneficiary of Carl Lutz’s efforts in Budapest. In 1944, when I was 6 years old..”
SAVIOR BRUCE TEICHOLZ
”After they met, Wallenberg approved of Teicholz making the counterfeit passes. Together they were able to save many more lives than Wallenberg would have been able to alone.”

THE JERUSALEM POST. DUTCH WOMEN NAMED ‘RIGHTEOUS AMONG NATIONS’
Staring certain death straight in the face, the 18-year-old Dutch teen did not flinch. It was 1943 in Nazi-occupied Holland, with the Nazi deportation of Dutch Jews in full swing.
