”The Croatian Righteous” Exhibit at ”Semana del libro” – Buenos Aires, Argentina
An exhibit consisting of the isolated cases of 39 people -part of a group of 106 men, women, and teenagers who showed solidarity toward Jews persecuted since the creation of the nazi-fascist satellite country, in April 1941, known as the Independent State of Croatia, was presented at the House of Reading during the annual Book Week.
Raoul Wallenberg in Uruguayan School – Montevideo, Uruguay
A new sign bearing the name of Raoul Wallenberg was inaugurated in the Public School # 53, located in the city of Montevideo. The school adopted the Swedish hero’s name in 2003.
