State of Utah proclaims October 5, 2014 Raoul Wallenberg Day
In honor of the bravery, heroism and courage of Raoul Wallenberg and to mark the 30th anniversary of the day in which he was declared an Honorary Citizen of the U.S., Governor Gary R. Herbert has officially proclaimed October 5th, 2014, as Raoul Wallenberg Day in the State of Utah.
This is the third consecutive year in which the State of Utah is supporting our initiative, for which we are truly grateful.
Initiated in 2005, the annual campaign of “Wallenberg Day” proclamations across the U.S. has counted with the support of 20 U.S. States thus far.
