Richard Cohen’s call to Mr Obama to comdemn the Trumpet Newsmagazine’s award to Farrakhan is totally justified. Mr Obama is an honest politician and we are sure he repudiates the award.
On Jan 17th., the world marks the 63rd anniversary of the disappearance of the Swedish diplomat, Raoul Wallenberg, who saved 100,000 Hungarian Jews from Nazi extermination. On Jan 17, 1045, he was abducted by the Soviet troops in Budapest, never to be seen again.
Wallenberg epitomized the most sacred values of mankind – solidarity, civil courage, empathy.
Those who cherish human rights, embrace the values of Raoul Wallenberg and not Louis Farrakhan’s.
The mission of our Foundation is to develop educational programmes to divulge the legacy of Raoul Wallenberg and his likes. We have recently launched a worldwide campaign – ”100,000 names for 100,000 lives” which was endorsed by retiring Congressman Tom Lantos. Our campaign demands clear answers from Mr Putin regarding the fate of Raoul Wallenberg.
