The International Raoul Wallenberg Foundation Now in Chinese Territory
The International Raoul Wallenberg Foundation has developed new representation in China. Xu Xin, professor of the department of Religious Studies/Department of Philosophy and Director of the Center for Jewish Studies at Najing University, has graciously accepted the offer as representative of the new development in China.
Letters sent to President Putin
The International Raoul Wallenberg Foundation reaches out to its some 200 members, who include Heads of State and Nobel Laureates and to all individuals urging them to send letters to the President of Russia, Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, asking him to resolve Raoul Wallenberg’s mystery. Within a few weeks, copies of letters sent to the office in Russia have been pouring in and all have been diplomatic and forthright.
An Inspirational Message
Ben Olander’s visit to New York City prompted to be extremely inspirational.
Monday, March 14, 2006. Ben Olander, a renowned Swedish folk singer, educated many students during his visit to New York City. In association with the International Raoul Wallenberg Foundation, Ben featured two schools a day for four consecutive days spreading Holocaust awareness to children as young as eight years old to young adults as old as twenty-one years of age. His message was clear, concise, and riveting, guiding students towards one united goal: to be kind to others, to be accepting of the people who appear different, and to stand up for what we believe in, constantly fighting against evil.
Remembrance Day of the Holocaust for the Greek Jewry
Abigail Tenembaum and Kerr Family under the auspices of the Consulate General of Greece in New York, The American Sephardi Federation with the Sephardi House, The American Friends of the Jewish Museum of Greece, The Hellenic-American Chamber of Commerce and The International Raoul Wallenberg Foundation, marked the commemoration of Remembrance Day of the Holocaust for the Greek Jewry, as designated by the Greek Parliament, the European Union and the United Nations, in a ceremony attended by 400 guests.
The secret Spanish evasion routes to save refugee Jews from the holocaust
This is above all, a love story. A true story of love in times of war. Of love for humanity, of love between fellow beings and – why not say so – a story of love between a newly wed Spanish couple: my parents, Eduardo and Ramona.
Interview: Baruch Tenembaum, ecumenic leader
”Nations frequently hate each other because they ignore each other”.
Predecessor of the inter- religious dialogue, Tenembaum asks everybody to pay homage to those that in the 70’s, in Argentina, saved lives putting at risk their own lives. He believes in the possibility of integrating the Islam and warns us on the danger of confusing religion with power, using it often as an excuse.
Jan Zwartendijk: the guardian of salvation
Jan Zwartendijk When two Dutch students approached Jan Zwartendijk to ask him for visas that would allow them to enter Dutch territory in the colony of Curacao, he was not yet known by the knick-name of Mr. Philips Radio; he had not become a saviour yet.
