The City of Milan becomes Honorary Member of the International Raoul Wallenberg Foundation

The International Raoul Wallenberg Foundation (IRWF), an NGO that searches Holocaust rescuers and advocates for their recognition, has bestowed upon the city of Milan the title of Honorary Member.
The City of Milan is a new Honorary Member of the IRWF.
The Chairman of the IRWF, Eduardo Eurnekian and its Founder, Baruch Tenembaum sent to the Municipality of Milan a request of support to the foundation, which was immediately accepted.
This represents a significant and important act for the city and for all its residents that contributed to rescue men, women and children from the horror of the Nazi-Fascist camps of extermination.
It is also a sign of encouragement for all those who strive to keep alive the truth and the memory of the people and deeds that left a mark in the history of our country.

La Fondazione internazionale Raoul Wallenberg, organizzazione non governativa no-profit che ricerca i soccorritori dell’Olocausto e ne sostiene il loro riconoscimento, ha conferito a Milano il titolo di membro onorario.

Il presidente della Fondazione Eduardo Eurnekian, e Baruch Tenembaum, suo fondatore, hanno inviato al Comune di Milano la richiesta di aderire alla Fondazione, che l’Amministrazione ha prontamente accettato.
Un atto importante e significativo per la città e per tutti i milanesi che hanno contribuito a strappare uomini, donne e bambini dall’orrore dei campi di sterminio nazifascisti. E un ulteriore sprone per tutti quelli che ancora oggi si impegnano per mantenere viva la verità e la memoria di persone e fatti che hanno segnato la storia del nostro Paese.
