Pastor Annemarie Werner receives award in Berlin.
Pastor Annemarie Werner received the Raoul Wallenberg Centennial Medal. The prestigious award was presented by the Wallenberg Foundation in recognition of her commitment to interreligious dialogue, social causes and human rights.
The ceremony took place on December 11, 2014 at the residence of the Ambassador of Israel in Berlin, Mr. Yakov Hadas- Handelsman. Danny Rainer, Vice – President of the International Raoul Wallenberg Foundation and head of the Israeli office, represented the foundation.

House of Life, General Curia of the Capuchin Brotherhood in Rome.
Another ceremony of recognition took place in Rome on November 23 at the General Curia of the Capuchin Brotherhood building in Via Piemonte, in memory of the courage of Father Pierre-Marie Benoît, Righteous among the nations, a French priest then resident near the International College of the Capuchins in Via Sicilia where he held his operation. He was appointed in the Board of the Delegazione Assistenza Emigranti Ebrei, “Delegation for the Assistance of Jewish Emigrants” a resistance Jewish organization operating for the distribution of financial aid to the persecuted Jews and worked tireless between 1939 and 1947 from its operation center.
