The city of Prague named “Raoul Wallenberg” a street to remember the brave Swedish diplomat.

The Czech capital Prague- opened on Friday a street with the name of Raoul Wallenberg after the Swedish diplomat who saved tens of thousands of Jews from the Holocaust during World War II.
A niece of Mr. Wallenberg together with Swedish and Czech officials attended the ceremony in honor of United Nations Day, dedicated to remembering the humanitarian achievements.
“The Raoul Wallenberg Promenade” is a footpath close to the Swedish embassy and Petrin Park near the Prague Castle. The Czech capital joined Budapest and other cities in the United States or Israel to give a public memorial to Raoul Wallenberg.

Wallenberg Foundation runs an unprecedented educational program throughout Europ

“Houses of Life” is an educational program recently started by the international Raoul Wallenberg Foundation, a tribute to churches and convents who helped Jews persecuted by the Nazis.
The program aims to identify, pay tribute and disseminate the actions of individuals or institutions that sheltered Jews persecuted by the Nazis during the Holocaust.
The program is carried out throughout Europe in collaboration with the Catholic news agency Aleteia and direct participation of its staff, Editorial Director, Jesús Colina and Institutional Relations Director Silvia Costantini. http://www.aleteia.org/es

Book – Two diplomats and people in need distributed by the IRWF.
The International Raoul Wallenberg Foundation is proud to announce the launching of ” Two diplomats and people in need” by Brazilian renowned scholar Fabio Koifman , and Jill Blonsky , a member of the Wallenberg Foundation. The electronic edition was authorized by the Brazilian Embassy in Stockholm.
The two articles in the volume represent how diplomats Luiz Martins de Souza Dantas from Brazil and Raoul Wallenberg from Sweden helped save thousands of people persecuted in Europe during World War II.
The Wallenberg Foundation is grateful to Ambassador Camargo, Tingdal Alexsandra De Lucena, head of the Cultural Department Embassy of Brazil in Sweden, the authors and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Brazil.

Franciscan Monastery declared “House of Life” Jewish women and children were sheltered in it during Second World War.

“House of Life”, this is the recognition that can be read on a memorial plaque unveiled on November 19 in the convent of the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary in the Plaza del Carmen in Florence.
The tribute was presented by the International Raoul Wallenberg Foundation in recognition of the assistance offered by sister Ester Busnelli (recognized Righteous among the Nations by Yad Vashem) and her religious community to eighty women and children during the Nazi raids. The event was attended the monastery’s authorities and residents participated actively and the event was also attended by the Rabbi of Florence and members of the Jewish community.
Before the end of 2014, the Wallenberg Foundation will hold a ceremony and place a plate at the General Curia of the Capuchin Brotherhood in Rome and at the headquarters of the Franciscan , Sisters and the Casa de Santa Brigida in Florence. In 2015 other ceremonies will take place in churches and convents in Belgium, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands , France and Poland.
The ceremonies will follow during 2015 in other churches and convents, schools and public buildings as well as private houses, not only in Italy but also in Hungary, the Netherlands, France and Poland.
