The Righteous from Croatia Exhibit Opened in Zadar, Croatia
The exhibition Righteous from Croatia organized by the International Raoul Wallenberg Foundation, Casa Argentina en Israel Tierra Santa, and the National Museum Zadar, was inaugurated on November 8th, 2011, in the city of Zadar, Croatia. His Exellency Yosef Amrani, Ambassador of the State of Israel in Croatia; the Honorable Zvonimir Vrancic, Mayor of Zadar; and Ms. Renata Peros, Director of the National Museum Zadar, all took part in the opening ceremony.

“Let’s be clear. This is not about Jews forcibly converted by the Christians in Armenia, but about Armenian Christians forcibly converted to Islam. And just as many Jews in 15th Century Spain did not accept forced conversion and clandestinely maintained their true heritage (these were the original “marranos”), we now have Turkish Armenians attempting the same heroic deeds. I first heard about this from the Raoul Wallenberg Foundation and then set about to find more information that I could share with you.”

Austrian Government gives awards to IRWF Founder, Baruch Tenenbaum
The Austrian government awarded Baruch Tenenbaum and other distinguished personalities in Argentina for their “commitment and dedication to human rights and to nondiscrimination”
